			Kasane is a second year at Shinonome Academy who decided to become a school idol in the interest of opening herself up to new experiences. She has a history of making her own clothes, and is skilled enough to create the idol costumes for her club. As a child, she had a lot of dreams about what she wanted to be when she grew up.

			Kasane is a friendly and open girl who isn't afraid of speaking her mind, even about things that may be embarrassing such as not doing well on a test. She likes when people are open with her in turn. She originally liked doing things by herself if she knew how to do them, but after creating costumes with the other members of her school idol group, she becomes more appreciative of input from others. In the anime, she is good friends with [[Christina]] and [[Haruka Konoe]].

She has recently started to create accessories such as jewelry and hats to enhance the costumes she makes for the idol club.
