The project was originally developed for the mobile game &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Love Live! School idol festival ALL STARS]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, before expanding into comics, lives, and an animated series.&lt;br /&gt;

== Perfect Dream Project ==&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Perfect Dream Project&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (PDP) is the title used for &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Love Live! School idol festival ALL STARS]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039; and the Nijigasaki idols prior to the game&amp;#039;s release.&lt;br /&gt;

Before PDP was announced, a popularity poll was held in Love Live! School idol festival, which asked the players to vote for their favorite character with the [[Transfer Students|&amp;quot;N&amp;quot; rarity]]. [[Emma Verde]] won in first place, [[Shizuku Osaka]] in second place and [[Kanata Konoe]] in third place. The three former N girls were teased as silhouettes before the 6 new characters created specifically for the unit.&lt;br /&gt;

[[Nijiyon (manga)|Nijiyon]] (にじよん) is a 4-koma series that depicts the lives of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. [[Gasaraji]] (がさらじ) is the collective name for four radio programs aired on HiBiKi Radio station featuring Nijigasaki voice actresses. Radio programs include radio dramas of the characters as well as other information. The main personalities were chosen via voting.&lt;br /&gt;

== Anime Adaptation ==&lt;br /&gt;
On December 15, 2019, at the end of Day 2 of [[Nijigasaki High School Idol Club First Live &amp;quot;with You&amp;quot;]], it was announced that an anime adaptation for Nijigasaki was in development with the tagline &amp;quot;Let&amp;#039;s Fly Past That Rainbow.&amp;quot; The anime was said to have a &amp;quot;brand new story&amp;quot; instead of following the plot of ALL STARS.&lt;br /&gt;

A new main character was revealed on January 29, 2020 to take the role of ALL STARS&amp;#039; [[Anata|player character]]. After a submission campaign and fan voting, on May 15, her name was revealed to be [[Yu Takasaki]]. On September 12, during the evening session of [[Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club 2nd Live!|Nijigasaki High School Idol Club 2nd Live! Brand New Story]] it was announced that the anime will premiere its first episode on October 3, 2020 and [[Hinaki Yano]], a new cast member, will be the voice of Yu.&lt;br /&gt;

Comic books bundled along with wall tapestries of each of the first nine Nijigasaki school idols in swimwear were released in Fall 2020. The comics are a tie-in to the girls&amp;#039; first few bond episodes in Love Live! All Stars. A 2-volume compilation of all 9 chapters will be released on May 28, 2021. A 3rd volume with Shioriko, Mia, and Lanzhu&amp;#039;s chapters was released on December 28, 2022.&lt;br /&gt;

Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Real Face Photo Essay Series&amp;#039;&amp;#039; are books that include illustrations and text essays from each of the Nijigasaki girls&amp;#039; point-of-view. The essays ties in with Nijigasaki&amp;#039;s TV anime story.&lt;br /&gt;
