==Background==
As an honor student, she consistently ranks second in the school's weekly test rankings, just behind her childhood best friend, Rurika. Her parents run a large hospital and have her attend cram school and other supplementary classes.
 
She's skilled at writing and, before the schools and idol clubs merged, was in charge of writing lyrics. However, she often wouldn’t take initiative unless Rurika encouraged her.

==Personality==
Yuzuha is polite and well-mannered, but also introverted and rigid, often taking things a bit too seriously.
 
Her close bond with Rurika is what eventually encouraged her, though it took a lot of convincing, to step out of her comfort zone and try idol activities alongside her friends. Despite having the option of inheriting her parents’ hospital, Yuzuha is currently studying to become a teacher, hoping to support Rurika once she becomes the school’s director.

==Appearence==
Yuzuha has black hair that is cut into a short blunt bob, her forelocks are tucked behind the ears with two white hairpins on the left side. She has grey, gentle eyes and a beauty mark on her right cheek.

==Etymology==
*The (ユズ) (Yuzu) in '''Yuzuha''' refeers to the yuzu fruit while (ハ) (Ha) is a stylised way of ending a girl's name.
*Yuzuha's surname '''Sumeragi''' means "Emperor, royalty" (皇).

==Trivia==
*Yuzuha's appearance was most likely modeled after her stage actress, [[Nanami Asai]], not only does she share Nanami’s signature short, straight bob, but she also has a beauty mark in the same spot.
*Yuzuha shares one of her actresses with [[Rena Suzuka]] and [[Sayaka Harukaze]]. Suzuki Mayuri, who played Yuzuha in the 2024 stage play alongside Nanami Asai, was also casted as Rena and Sayaka in 2022 and 2025 respectively as part of the B Cast.
