Mai Azabu is a main character in Love Live! Bluebird. She is a first-year student at Love High School's Asakusa Satellite and vice president of IKIZULIVE!.
Background
- A first-year student at L High School Asakusa Satellite. She loves programming, Tron PCs, and logical thinking, and dreams of creating beautiful programs no one has ever seen. She has a rational personality and finds it difficult to communicate with others. Although she is not happy about it, she often ends up going along with Polka's pace.[1]
Mai was born in Azabu, and currently lives in Hiroo. She enrolled in L High because she wanted to have more time to work on her own programming projects. Despite believing it to be out of character for a serious girl like herself, she ends up becoming a school idol at Polka's insistence.

Personality
Mai is rational and logical, valuing efficiency above all. She is annoyed by Polka's carefree attitude, but often follows her lead anyways. Contrarily, she has a cute side she shows during idol activities, using the nickname MaiMai (マイマイ).
She has high ambitions, aiming to be an IT president and feature in TIME magazine's Top 100 influential people.
Clubs and Hobbies
Mai enjoys many logic-based activities, such as programming, puzzles, and video games. She attends master classes at a programming school alongside her L High courses.
Her interest in logic dates back to her childhood, enjoying Minecraft and Scratch in elementary school. Her love of the antivirus software Tron comes from the Azabu family's home computer, which had it installed.
Appearance
Mai has a black bob haircut, pinned to the side with a light blue bow hairclip. Her eyes are a vivid blue color. She dresses in elegant business wear.
She mentions in her self-introduction that she is short (but expects to grow taller) and has a small head.
