Akira Goto is a main character in Love Live! Bluebird. She is a first-year student at Love High School's Asakusa Satellite and member of IKIZULIVE!.
Background
- A first-year student at L High School Asakusa Satellite. She aspires to become a professional athlete in climbing and enrolled at L High to secure more time for practice and training. She prefers spending time alone being physically active rather than with others. While independent, she can be unexpectedly absent-minded at times.[1]
Akira is originally from Numazu City, where Love Live! Sunshine!! takes place. After moving from Numazu to Tokyo, she now lives at her aunt's house in Yushima.[2] She enrolled at L High so she could focus on her athletic training, and is aiming to be able to compete internationally. Though she isn't sure what being a school idol entails, she joins the club to help Polka save L High.
She has heard rumors about a school near her aunt's house that was saved from the brink of closure through the efforts of its students, and when she lived in her hometown, she had also heard about high school girls who worked hard to keep their school open.[3]

Akira has long reddish-brown hair tied into a high ponytail and sideswept bangs, with a small yellow bow on one of her side locks. She has upturned yellow-green eyes. Her casual clothing consists of athletic clothes, and she wears long bike shorts under her uniform skirt.
