Haruka Konoe is a transfer student who made her debut as an N-rarity idol in Love Live! School idol festival. She is a first-year student and the class representative at Shinonome Academy. She is also a member of the Shinonome Academy School Idol Club. She is the younger sister of Kanata Konoe.
While Haruka did not place in any of the top 9 spots of the N Girls popularity poll that ultimately brought Emma Verde, Shizuku Osaka, and Kanata Konoe to be part of “Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club" project, she has been mentioned multiple times by Kanata, as Haruka and Kanata are close together as sisters, and have a strong bond with each other.
She has also appeared in Kanata's bond story in "Love Live! School Idol Festival All Stars" as a supporting character.
Haruka is a supporting character in Nijigasaki anime where she first appeared on the 7th episode of the first season.
Background
Haruka is a first-year at Shinonome Academy and the representative of her class. She is part of her school's idol group. Her sister was part of the idol group with her until she transferred to Nijigasaki High School. She works with the Love Live! School Idol Festival app.
Personality
In stark contrast to her older sister, Haruka is much more energetic and hardworking. Before Kanata transferred to Nijigasaki, Haruka would often be the one to wake her up when she fell asleep at school. Haruka is often greatly irritated by Kanata's laziness, especially when it causes the two of them to be late.
Haruka also appears to believe in having perfect behavior and manners, as she once said that she needed to "do something about" the personality quirks of the other members of her idol group, as if they were things that needed fixing, and once criticized Kanata for leaving her clothes around, stating that it is "un-ladylike" to do so. This is likely the main reason for Haruka's responsibility and dependability.
As mentioned by Kanata, Haruka is very supportive of Kanata being a school idol, and her praise is what motivates Kanata to be a school idol.

- Unlike her older sister, she isn't skilled at cooking although Coco Miyashita has helped her improve.
- Unlike the rest of the main characters' siblings, Haruka has a different eye color from her sister.
- Haruka and her older sister Kanata share a room and a bunker bed together.
- In the anime, Haruka can be spotted using a cup with a Pocky print. This is due to the fact that her birthday, November 11, coincides with Pocky & Pretz Day in Japan.
- Despite being the younger sister, she tends to scold her older sister.
- Her seiyuu, Kaede Hondo, is known for voicing Maple in Bofuri and Elaina from Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina. She also voices idol characters such as Sakura Minamoto from Zombie Land Saga, D'Artagnyan in Mon-Soni!
