Sakuya Kurobane is a side character in Love Live! School idol festival. She is a second-year student at Shion Girls Academy, where she is a member of the Shion Girls Academy Idol Club. She is the older sister of Sakura Kurobane.
Sakuya first debuted in the rhythm game Love Live! School idol festival as a N-rarity character, but also debuted in Season 2, Episode 1 of the Nijigasaki anime.
Background
Sakuya is a third year at Shion Girls Academy who believes she has an imaginary enemy called the Organization constantly tracking her. She became a school idol to expose the Organisation's corruption and destroy their secret plans while 'looking disarmingly cute'. Sakuya views herself as a secret agent battling the underworld, with her secret identity being her role as a school idol.
Personality
Sakuya is an eccentric girl who appears to have chuunibyou tendencies and delusions of grandeur. She speaks in an eccentric and sometimes haughty manner, which she drops whenever startled or complimented.
Even with all of her delusions, she deeply cares about her younger sister Sakura. She considers herself the only one who can protect Sakura from the Organisation's threats, and . She is more outgoing than her sister, so often does things to help her such as writing Sakura a script to aid her in talking in front of a crowd or watching over her at events. Sakuya believes she is able to work hard as a school idol thanks to the support of her sister.
Clubs and Hobbies
Sakuya's main hobby is checking out overseas media. She constantly tracks foreign media outlets as she believes they are investigating the Organisation, despite her beliefs that only she will know the truth behind them.
Appearance
Sakuya has short grey hair styled into a bob, usually worn with her signature headband adorned with ribbons and a blue rose. She cuts her bangs herself, sometimes cutting them too short and having to wait for them to grow back. Her eyes are a dark green.
