3年生が卒業してしまう状況下で2年生組はグループを牽引していかなくてはならないという意識を抱き、責任感の強い渡辺曜も志を新たにしていた。卒業して行くメンバーがいつでも戻って来れる様な灯台になりたいと言う気持ちと残っているメンバーの "みちしるべ" になりたいと言う気持ちを綴っている . . . 船長をしている父親の事を尊敬しているいかにも渡辺曜らしい楽曲。
