Hasunosora is the first group to cover a song in an official capacity. For a list of songs covered by the club and its members, see List of songs covered by Hasunosora.

Etymology

The Hasunosora Girls' High School Idol Club is named after the school they attend. "Hasunosora" (蓮ノ空) means "Sky Lotus."

The name of the club is localized in multiple ways across the franchise: "Hasu no sora Jogakuin School Idol Club" is used on the official logo, YouTube channel, and in live names, "Hasunosora Girls' High School Idol Club" is used on the global server of School idol festival 2, and "Hasu no Sora" is used on Apple Music and in magazine branding.

Trivia

  • Like the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, they are not a single unit and are instead a club made up of multiple units.
  • Hasunosora is the first main group in the franchise to debut with an even number of members, with six members. Prior to the introduction of the 104th class, Hasunosora was the smallest unit among the main groups in the franchise.
