Aina Kusuda is a female voice actress and singer, born on February 1, 1989, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Her nickname is include "Kussun". She voices Nozomi Tojo, one of the main characters in Love Live! School idol project.

Her call-and-response during concerts is Nozomi Pawaa (taappuri) chuunyuu! Hai, pushutsu☆ 「希パワー(たーっぷり)注入!はーい、プシュッ☆」The usual response is Itadakimashita!「いただきましたー!」.

Background

Aina Kusuda was initially interested in stage acting. During her junior high school years, she was deeply impressed by a stage performance featuring Kamiya Akira, which led her to believe that voice acting was beyond her reach and caused her to give up on the idea for a time. However, after seeing a performance by Takeuchi Junko in high school, she was inspired to pursue a career as a voice actress. Kusuda graduated from Yoyogi Animation Academy’s Tokyo campus.

Kusuda made her voice acting debut in 2010 when she was cast as Tōjō Nozomi in the multimedia project Love Live!. She has stated that she landed the role just a week after joining her agency, JTB Entertainment.

After her debut, Kusuda took on minor roles in various anime and games, gradually building her portfolio. Following the μ's Final Live, she became more active as a stage actor.

On the internet broadcast station "Ameba Studio," she irregularly hosted the show Ucchi & Kussun no ○○ Naito☆ together with Aya Uchida, who was also part of the same agency at the time.

In 2013, she formed the voice actress unit "Please & Secret" with Pile. In the same year, she also formed タビカレガールズ with Yui Watanabe , Rikako Yamaguchi , Rika Nishimori , and Mami Sumi .

In 2015, she announced the start of musical activities under her own name, with her recordings released by VAP. She has also received lyrics from Nanjo Yoshino.

On October 7, 2015, her debut mini-album "First Sweet Wave" was released.

On December 31, 2015, Kusuda appeared as a member of μ's at the 66th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen.

On August 1, 2016, reported on her blog that she had transferred from JTB Entertainment to Dandelion.[1]

On April 1, 2019, announced on her blog that she had left Dandelion and become freelance.[2]

On January 12, 2022, announced on her blog that she had joined Just Pro.[3]
