BiBi is a sub-unit of μ's, consisting of Eli Ayase, Maki Nishikino, and Nico Yazawa. They debuted in June 2011 with the single Diamond Princess no Yuuutsu.

The members in each of the three μ's sub-units were chosen from five options in a poll from Dengeki G's Magazine.

Etymology

The name BiBi was chosen by staff from fan submissions.[1] Other names that were submitted for the group include "Grace Maiden" and "Shiny Silhouette".

  • BiBi has the highest single sales of any μ's sub-unit, likely due to the members' individual popularity.
  • BiBi's trademark introduction at live concerts involves them shouting BiBi multiple times, with the audience repeating it back to them with the same beat.
