Yohane the Parhelion characters
Yohane the Parhelion -SUNSHINE in the MIRROR- is a spin-off series of Love Live! Sunshine!!, featuring the members of Aqours in an alternate fantasy universe.
Characters originally appearing in Love Live! Sunshine retain traits such as birth date, voice actress, and personality, but have differing backstories to establish their place in the fantastical world. For a list of Love Live! Sunshine characters, see Love Live! Sunshine!! characters.
Many supporting and background characters are unique to the series.
Main characters
Yohane

A young lady who tells fortunes in Numazu. She tends to fuss over small details, but is nonetheless kind at heart. She never turns down someone in need.[1]
Lailaps

A large wolf-like creature who lives with Yohane. Her gentle personality makes her well-suited to be Yohane's trusted partner.[1]
Hanamaru

Yohane's childhood friend, Hanamaru loves anything delicious. She makes a living selling homemade sweets.[1]
Dia

Dia is the Numazu Administrative Bureau's Chief Secretary. A supreme perfectionist, she can't stand to see a rule broken or paperwork unfiled.[1]
Ruby

Ruby is a descendant of a fairy tribe. She tries to live her life outside of the purview of humans thanks to her introverted nature.[1]
Chika

Chika is the youngest of three sisters, working at a long-standing inn. She has a bold personality and is a sore loser.[1]
You

You works as a message-girl in Numazu. Always bright and cheerful, she has a surprising amount of physical prowess.[1]
Kanan

Kanan works as a mechanic in a workshop near Chika's inn. She collects flotsam from the beach to repair and use in her own creations.[1]
Riko

Riko is a traveling veterinarian visiting Numazu. Her calm personality belies her true inquisitive nature. She seemingly pays little attention to her appearance.[1]
Mari

The daughter of a family of demon lords, Mari lives in an island castle. She rarely shows herself to humans.[1]

Yohane's Mother

A scholar who is often away from Numazu for work.
Million Dollar
Million Dollar (ミリオンダラー) is a mysterious organization operating in the shadows of Numazu. Their true identity remains shrouded in secrecy.
Shima

Shima (シマ) is Chika’s eldest sister. She has a gentle demeanor, but is said to be frightening when angered.
Mito

Mito (ミト) is Chika’s second eldest sister. She has a bold and energetic personality.
Chika's Mother
- Voiced by: Rie Kugimiya (釘宮理恵)
Chika’s Mother (チカの母) manages an inn with her daughters. In this series, she is explicitly stated to be the inn's proprietress.
Tsuki

Tsuki (ツキ) is the owner of the photography shop Tsuki Photography Studio and You's cousin.
Nami and Miki
- Voiced by: Misaki Kuno (久野美咲)
Nami & Miki (ナミ & ミキ) are twin sisters who are Tsuki’s younger siblings and You’s cousins. Nami has a ponytail, while Miki wears twin tails.
Lew, Setsu, and Rahn
Lew (リュウ), Setsu (セツ), and Rahn (ラン) are a group of three close friends who live near Yohane’s house.
Kohaku

Kohaku (コハク) is a young assistant to Dia in the Numazu Administrative Bureau. Calm and composed, she is Dia’s trusted partner. She is related to Dia and Ruby’s family and has known them since childhood.
Ariana
Ariana (アリアナ) is a character submitted by readers and one of the assistants to Chief Administrator Dia. She appears in both the manga and anime (without dialogue in the anime). In the manga, she takes orders from Kohaku, suggesting she ranks below her among the assistants.
Himepoyo / Kamiikehime
Himepoyo (ひめぽよ), or Kamiikehime (神池姫) is a mermaid who resides in Ose’s sacred pond. Appears in the manga and speaks in a flamboyant, trendy manner.
Kanan's Great-Grandfather
Kanan’s Great-Grandfather (カナンの曾祖父) is the chief priest of Ose’s shrine. Appears in the manga as a short elderly man with a rich beard.
Motorcycle-riding Girls
The Motorcycle-riding Girls (バイク乗りの2人組の少女) briefly appear in the final episode of the anime: One with a side-tail hairstyle making a phone call, the other with twin tails holding a helmet and drinking a frappuccino. They are presumed to be the alternate versions of two familiar characters. Their two-person motorcycle ride is likely a self-homage to a certain song. Even before the broadcast, this person’s Instagram story indicated they were not involved. However, their silent appearance suggests a potential setup for Season 2.

Shishinoshin

Shishinoshin (シシノシン) is a large boar-like beast kept by Hanamaru.
Shiitake

Shiitake (しいたけ) is Chika’s beloved dog, and the mascot of Tochiman Inn.
Tonosama

Tonosama (トノサマ) is an autonomous frog robot created by Kanan using materials she found at sea. Strong and reliable, he is Kanan’s trusted companion.
Pellapie
Pellapie (ペラピー) is a highly skilled familiar who serves Mari.
