Bright and positive, Sayaka highly values individuality and enjoys spending time alone, caring little about what others may think of her. She speaks her mind with honesty and frankness, even if it sometimes creates tension.

Her eyes are a desaturated gold and her eyelids are slightly darker, her lower lip is slightly more pronounced.

*The name '''Sayaka''' (サヤカ) is written in katakana, therefore it has no set meaning. It can mean briliant, clear or fragrance.
*Sayaka's surname '''Harukaze''' means "sunny" (晴) (Haru) and "wind, breeze" (風) (Kaze).

==Trivia==
*She is one of the few characters whose bangs reveal the most of her forehead. Other examples include [[Rurino Osawa]] and [[Yukino Hojo]].
*Sayaka shares her name with [[Sayaka Murano]] from [[Hasunosora Girls' High School Idol Club]], making her the first main character in the franchise to share her name with another main character.
**It is written differently in Japanese, however. While Hasunosora's Sayaka is ''さやか'', Takizakura's Sayaka is ''サヤカ''.
