"Overture" is an instrumental song from Love Live! School Idol Musical. It was released as part of the School Idol Musical CD Album on December 10, 2022.
It is the piece played at the beginning of the stage play.
Composition
"Overture" opens as a slow, orchestral piece, with a piano and various strings being prominent instruments; this gradually transitions into a more uptempo composition with prominent guitars and drums added to the mix, before slowing back down for a section focused on oboes, a glockenspiel and an acoustic guitar. Afterwards, the song returns to an uptempo sound before ending.
