}} Rakshata is a side character in Love Live! School idol festival. She is a second-year student at Y.G. International Academy, where she is the vice-president of the Y.G. International Academy Idol Club.
Kasane first debuted in the rhythm game Love Live! School idol festival as a N-rarity character, but also debuted in Season 1, Episode 7 of the Nijigasaki anime.
Background
Rakshata is a second year at Y.G. International Academy who moved to Japan from India. Coming from the home of curry, she loves mild and sweet thick curries, considering them like something a mother would make. Rakshata often practices making them at home, but struggles with getting the flavors just right. From being raised in India, she believes in the gods of the country and has great respect for their living incarnations such as horses. She also enjoys experiencing the cultural differences between events in India and Japan, such as Christmas and New Year.
Personality
Rakshata is a gentle girl who loves mild curry. She takes her role as the mild curry idol very seriously and goes to extreme lengths to show her love for her favorite food. She says that during meet and greets, she will hand out curry boxes and sign autographs with curry drawings. She oftentimes equates her school idol activities to cooking curry. She is also shown to be hard working as she says that she gives it her all every day.
Rakshata has stated herself that she has things that she is very particular about such as making everyone look pretty, in contrast to her mild personality. She is also very passionate about making sure she does her best as a school idol. However, she gets very nervous whenever people touch her. She is good friends with Rebecca, as well as Jennifer in the anime.
Clubs and Hobbies
Rakshata is a member of the Cricket Club at Y.G. International Academy. She is also the vice-president of the Y.G. International Academy Idol Club, often attending cross-school event meetings with Jennifer. Along with her duties as vice-president, she also has experience in making and fitting costumes for their live shows.
Rakshata's main hobby is yoga, and is quite flexible as a result. She loves collecting stickers that come with curry packets, calling them her "treasure" and putting them all up in her room. Sometimes, she isn't sure whether she prefers the sweet curry or the sticker. Rakshaka also enjoys hiking, and likes taking different routes to find brand new scenery.
Appearance
Rakshata has long black hair usually tied into a low bun with a barrette keeping the right side of her fringe clipped away. However, she usually lets her hair down for live shows. Her eyes are a bluish-grey color.

- On April 30, 2020, Rakshata's new N-rarity card generated controversy within the international fanbase due to her lighter skin tone than in previous cards.
