Koyuki Shirase is a side character in Love Live! School idol festival. She is a first-year student at Touoh School, where she is a member of the Touoh School Idol Club.
Koyuki first debuted in the rhythm game Love Live! School idol festival as a N-rarity character, but also debuted in Season 1 Episode 5 of the Nijigasaki anime.
Background
Koyuki is a first year at Touoh School and childhood friends with Ryo Aikawa, who calls her "Yuki-chan". Ryo was the one who introduced her to school idols and they have a very close bond, often missing her when the two aren't together. They buy each other Christmas presents, and Koyuki makes Ryo chocolates every year for Valentines' Day. Koyuki has been performing ballet since she was young, and Ryo often goes to cheer her on during her ballet practices and performances. She isn't overly athletic, but has been working hard on her endurance and stamina via training regimens.
Personality
Koyuki is a meek and modest girl who is considered to resemble a living doll or a princess. She is especially close to her childhood friend Ryo and they spend every moment they can together. Koyuki often misses Ryo when they aren't together and feels lonely, not knowing what to do with herself. Her dream is to perform as a school idol with everyone, forever
Clubs and Hobbies
Koyuki is a member of the Rhythmic Gymnastics Club at Touoh School. She also helps out with the choreography for the Touoh School Idol Club due to her experience with ballet and rhythmic gymnastics. She has been a ballet dancer since she was young, and often goes to ballet practice after her school idol practice finishes. She enjoys using the skills she learned from ballet to put on shows as a school idol, and is a master at putting emotions into her performances. Koyuki also enjoys making mascots.
Appearance
Koyuki is a very short girl with waist-length purple hair, usually tied into pigtails at the top of her head. In the anime, her hair is usually tied into low ponytails outside of performances. Her eyes are brown.
