Love Live! Sunshine!! characters

Love Live! Sunshine!! is the second installment in the Love Live! franchise, following the school idol group Aqours and their attempts to stop Uranohoshi High School from closing. The project mainly consists of the animated series and Love Live! Sunshine!! The School Idol Movie Over the Rainbow.

Chika Takami

Chika Takami (高海千歌, Takami Chika) is the primary protagonist of Love Live! Sunshine!!. She is the founder and leader of the school idol unit Aqours.

You Watanabe

You Watanabe (渡辺曜, Watanabe Yō) is the costume designer of Aqours, as well as a childhood friend of Chika Takami.

Riko Sakurauchi

Riko Sakurauchi (桜内梨子, Sakurauchi Riko) is the composer of Aqours. She transfers to Uranohoshi High School from Otonokizaka High School at the beginning of the anime.

Ruby Kurosawa

Sarah Kazuno (鹿角聖良, Kazuno Seira) is a third-year student at Seisen Girls' Academy. She is the leader and founder of the school idol group Saint Snow, the rival group to Aqours. Sarah is the older sister of Leah Kazuno.

Leah Kazuno (鹿角理亞, Kazuno Ria) is a first-year student at Seisen Girls' Academy and a member of Saint Snow along with her older sister, Sarah Kazuno.

Yoshimi, Itsuki, and Mutsu

Yoshimi, Itsuki, and Mutsu are students at Uranohoshi High School and classmates of Chika Takami. The three support Aqours throughout their journey.

Uchicchi (うちっちー) is the real-life walrus mascot of the Izu Mito Sea Paradise aquarium in Numazu. Uchicchi appears multiple times across the Love Live! Sunshine!! series, including appearances at lives and in the game Love Live! School idol festival.

Anko

Anko is a lost dog that appears in season 2, episode 5 of the Love Live! Sunshine!! anime, also referred to as Nocturne and Lailaps by Riko and Yoshiko respectively. Yoshiko's attachment to the dog inspired the Yohane the Parhelion character Lailaps.
