Overview

From July 2019 to March 2020, and again from July 2020 to March 2025, a monthly radio program focusing mainly on the Love Live! series was broadcast on Fridays (usually the last Friday of each month) from 22:00 to 24:00. The program aired on Nippon Broadcasting System, STV Radio, Tokai Radio, Kyushu Asahi Broadcasting, Aomori Broadcasting, Yamagata Broadcasting, Yamanashi Broadcasting, Fukui Broadcasting, Yamaguchi Broadcasting, Wakayama Broadcasting, as well as Shinetsu Broadcasting, Sanyo Broadcasting, Oita Broadcasting, and Miyazaki Broadcasting.

Additionally, IBC Iwate Broadcasting aired a one-hour version with the latter half cut, Tohoku Broadcasting omitted the final 10 minutes, and Hokuriku Broadcasting began airing the full two-hour version from April 2022. This was the first regularly scheduled radio program for the Love Live! series since Bunka Hoso’s “NozoEri RadioGarden”.

Ibaraki Broadcasting also carried the program from its start but ceased broadcasting after the September 2020 episode, which was also the final broadcast of “All Night Nippon GOLD” itself for the station.

The program was originally pre-recorded. If Nippon Broadcasting’s “Show Up Nighter” baseball coverage ran past 22:00, the show would start early on regional network stations, with Nippon Broadcasting joining in after the baseball broadcast ended, usually at a commercial break. Similarly, if local stations like STV Radio, Tokai Radio, Kyushu Asahi Broadcasting, or Tohoku Broadcasting had local baseball games, they would join the program in progress as needed.

From April 2023, the show switched to live broadcasts, though there had occasionally been live episodes before that.

The final episode aired on March 28, 2025.

Commercials

Because this program was sponsored by Seven & i Holdings, the following commercials featuring members of Aqours were aired during 7-Eleven store promotions:

The first commercial, in particular, was so popular that egg sandwiches disappeared from 7-Eleven stores, and the second commercial caused “Hamburg Hunter” 「ハンバーグハンター」 to trend on Twitter.
