Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club (ラブライブ!虹ヶ咲学園スクールアイドル同好会) is a multimedia project in the Love Live! franchise following the idols of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. The project was originally developed for the mobile game Love Live! School idol festival ALL STARS, before expanding into comics, lives, and an animated series.

Perfect Dream Project

Perfect Dream Project (PDP) is the title used for Love Live! School idol festival ALL STARS and the Nijigasaki idols prior to the game's release.

Before PDP was announced, a popularity poll was held in Love Live! School idol festival, which asked the players to vote for their favorite character with the "N" rarity. Emma Verde won in first place, Shizuku Osaka in second place and Kanata Konoe in third place. The three former N girls were teased as silhouettes before the 6 new characters created specifically for the unit.

Nijiyon

Nijiyon (にじよん) is a 4-koma series that depicts the lives of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. The comic ran from 2018 to 2022 with weekly updates, until it was succeeded by Nijiyon Animation. Nijiyon is illustrated by Miyakohito.

Season 1 is on the School Idol Festival: ALL STARS website.

Season 2 is on Dengeki G's website.

Season 3 episodes are in video format with voice acting, music, and animated visual effects. New episodes were published on the Love Live! YouTube channel every Tuesday from June 2, 2020 to December 29, 2020.

Season 4 is in the same video format as Season 3. Season 4 episodes were published weekly from July 6, 2021 to January 18, 2022.

Gasaraji

Gasaraji (がさらじ) is the collective name for four radio programs aired on HiBiKi Radio station featuring Nijigasaki voice actresses. Radio programs include radio dramas of the characters as well as other information. The main personalities were chosen via voting.

Episodes 1 to 50 are part of Nijigasaki High School ~Lunchbreak Broadcasting Room~ (ラブライブ!虹ヶ咲学園 ~お昼休み放送室~), which aired from June 2018 to February 2020. The main personalities were Miyu Kubota as Karin Asaka, Tomori Kusunoki as Setsuna Yuki, and Chiemi Tanaka as Rina Tennoji.

Episodes 51 to 100 are part of Nijigasaki High School ~Good Morning Broadcast Room~ (ラブライブ!虹ヶ咲学園〜おはよう放送室〜), which aired from February 2020 to January 2022. The main personalities were Kaori Maeda as Shizuku Osaka, Akari Kito as Kanata Konoe, and Tomori Kusunoki.

Episodes 101 to 157 are part of Nijigasaki High School ~After School Broadcast Room~ (ラブライブ!虹ヶ咲学園~放課後放送室~), which aired from February 2022 to March 2024. The main personalities are Natsumi Murakami as Ai Miyashita, Maria Sashide as Emma Verde, and Moeka Koizumi as Shioriko Mifune.

After a hiatus, Nijigasaki High School ~Nijichizu Broadcast Room~ (ラブライブ!虹ヶ咲学園~にじちず放送室~) began airing in June 2024. The main personalities are Shu Uchida as Mia Taylor, Mayu Sagara as Kasumi Nakasu, and Akina Homoto as Lanzhu Zhong. The program is named after TOKIMEKI Roadmap to Future, which it promotes and shares news about.

Anime Adaptation

On December 15, 2019, at the end of Day 2 of Nijigasaki High School Idol Club First Live "with You", it was announced that an anime adaptation for Nijigasaki was in development with the tagline "Let's Fly Past That Rainbow." The anime was said to have a "brand new story" instead of following the plot of ALL STARS.

A new main character was revealed on January 29, 2020 to take the role of ALL STARS' player character. After a submission campaign and fan voting, on May 15, her name was revealed to be Yu Takasaki. On September 12, during the evening session of Nijigasaki High School Idol Club 2nd Live! Brand New Story it was announced that the anime will premiere its first episode on October 3, 2020 and Hinaki Yano, a new cast member, will be the voice of Yu.

On October 3, 2021, during a livestream, the second season was announced to premier in April 2022.

Kizuna Comic Books

Comic books bundled along with wall tapestries of each of the first nine Nijigasaki school idols in swimwear were released in Fall 2020. The comics are a tie-in to the girls' first few bond episodes in Love Live! All Stars. A 2-volume compilation of all 9 chapters will be released on May 28, 2021. A 3rd volume with Shioriko, Mia, and Lanzhu's chapters was released on December 28, 2022.

Rainbow Days

Rainbow Days Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Real Face Photo Essay Series are books that include illustrations and text essays from each of the Nijigasaki girls' point-of-view. The essays ties in with Nijigasaki's TV anime story.
